In the establishment and management of Narita International Airport, Narita International Airport Corporation (NAA) is entrusted with personal information from a large number of airport users and other personnel.
NAA believes that it is extremely important for the reputation of the company and its activity to ensure that this information is used only for the purpose for which it was intended and protected to ensure that it is not leaked or used to create distress or inconvenience.
In recognition of this, NAA has undertaken the following measures to ensure the protection of personal information.

Protection of Personal Information

Use solely for the purpose for which it is intended.

NAA shall advise the purpose for which personal information is being used and shall use that information solely for that purpose.　
Use for any other purpose will only be after the agreement of that individual has been obtained.
NAA will obtain the consent of the person concerned if personal information is to be provided to a third party, however, this may not be the case if NAA is required by law to provide that information.

Information will be handled securely.

NAA undertakes to adopt measures to handle personal information securely by storage management, restricted access, restricted circulation and prevention of unauthorized external access, etc. to ensure the information is not leaked, lost or damaged.
If the handling of personal information is entrusted to an external entity, that entity shall also be obligated to adopt appropriate measures to ensure the information is handled securely.

NAA shall provide training in the protection of personal information for its executives and employees.

All executives and employees shall be provided with daily education and training to ensure they have a thorough understanding of the laws and regulations related to the protection of personal information and are familiar with handling security so that they are aware of its importance and are able to handle that information correctly.

Frank, honest answers will be provided in response to questions from the individual concerning their personal information.

NAA undertakes to respond promptly and frankly to any request by an individual for notification, disclosure, amendment, etc. relating to the purpose for which their personal information is being used.

Personal information held by NAA and the purposes for which it is used

NAA holds names, addresses, ages, dates of birth, sex, telephone numbers, fax numbers, email addresses, photographs and other types of personal information as shown in the following table.

The above-mentioned personal information may be provided to third parties in the following circumstances in the process of achieving the purpose for which that information is obtained.

(2)	Where incoming feedback, request or inquiry requires a response a third party and the details are relayed to that party by NAA
(3)	For statistics processing where the individual is not identified (survey and analysis for service improvement)
(4)	Where required by law
(5)	Where required for the protection of individuals and property and it is not possible to gain consent from the individual concerned
(6)	When especially required for reasons of public health or children's welfare and it is not possible to gain consent from the individual concerned
(7)	When required for assistance from government organizations, regional entities or their agents in carrying out tasks specified by law and where obtaining the consent of the individual would present an obstacle

Inquiries

The address shown below may be used for requests by an individual concerning the use, disclosure, amendment or termination of use of their own information or to lodge a complaint or discuss the handling of that information.
When doing so, a health insurance card, driver’s license or passport must be presented for verification of identity.

Carrying out safety measures

All steps will be taken in terms of organizational safety management, personal safety management, physical safety management and technical safety management to oversee the safety of personal information.

(LOGGING AND IP ADDRESSES)

NAA collects and uses the IP addresses (*¹) and event logs (*²) of website users for system management and analysis of site use.
Information on our servers is not used to identify individuals nor is it used for any other purpose. However, in the event that NAA deems it necessary to maintain the integrity of the site if it has been interfered with or subject to unauthorized access, that information will be used to identify users.

The site does not use Cookies (*³).

NAA takes full responsibility for managing the personal information it receives and makes every effort to prevent disclosure.
This website also uses SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encoding for security when receiving personal information to prevent leaks to third parties.
NAA may also entrust the handling of personal information received to an external entity for more efficient processing. In selecting this entity, only companies with approved handling procedures are accepted and these companies are under an obligation to maintain confidentiality, prohibit further distribution and manage information correctly to prevent leaks.
